Compliance with Hazardous Waste Regulations

  • Are you aware of the current Hazardous Waste Regulations that came in to effect on the16th of July 2005?
  • Is all your company Waste managed and disposed of in line with legislation, which includes the disposal of Hazardous and Non-Hazardous materials?

We can take care of these issues for you! We currently supply medical equipment to laboratories, hospitals and other industrial clients. Our core business is supplying equipment for testing for viruses, biohazards, carcinogenic tissue and blood born pathogens. We currently offer the safe disposal of our clients hazardous materials inline with the Control of Substance Hazardous to Health Regulations. These are managed inline with The Hazardous Waste Regulations.
We offer the correct removal of your hazardous waste, including body fluids, tissue, dressings and sharps, for our medical based clients. Our industrial client base also uses our waste management service, we take care that it is recycled or disposed of in a safe manner; also we comply with all European Union Directives.

We will ake the necessary steps to remove industrial chemical waste, away from your location to one of our approved disposal providers.

The new regulations simplify the procedure for tracking the movement of hazardous waste by removing the need to pre-notify the Environmental Agency about individual consignments. However, they also require:

  • Sites producing more than 200kg of hazardous waste a year, they must be registered with the Environmental Agency.
  • No more mixing of different types of hazardous waste at producing sites.
  • Producers to maintain company registers of their hazardous waste.

We are able to dispose of the following:

  • Clinical Waste
  • Sharps
  • Solvent Waste
  • Packaging Waste
  • Laboratory Waste
  • Electrical Equipment Waste

Here is a selection of Clinical Waste Containers which we have recently introduced!!!

In the clinical and hospital environment, dangerous residues are generated which are harmful to health or liable to cause accidents in handling or transport. Containers are required for treatment of such residues to ensure risk-free handling and transport. In SANYPICK they have created a new generation of containers with specific characteristics and design for integration in hospital spaces, providing solutions and preventing risk.
