MICROLITE HEATER - QBTP - GRANT

The QBTP microlitre heater is specifically designed for use in the fields of molecular biology and biotechnology, for sample preparation and incubation in 0.2ml, 0.5ml and 1.5ml microtubes and 96-well microplates.

The QBTP is compact and with a small footprint, making it convenient and efficient for personal benchtop use.

QBTP micro litre heater

The QBTP microlitre heater is available with a choice of alternative blocks for:-

• 0.2ml tubes, strips or microplates
• standard/high temperature 96 well microlitre plates, u-well, v-well, or flat bottom
• 0.5ml tubes
• 1.5ml tubes
• Operating temperature 5C above ambient to 100C

Interchangeable blocks
QBP-H block for 0.2ml microplates, strips or individual tubes

This drilled aluminium block is designed for the most commonly used types of 0.2ml 96-well plate, strip and tube.

With 96 holes in microplate configuration, the block will accommodate one 96-well plate, 8 x 12- or 12 x 8-well strips or up to 96 individual capped tubes.

A snug fit is ensured in the precision drilled wells, for excellent uniformity: 0.3C within tubes across the block.

QBP-FL universal block for standard 96-well plates

This universal block is designed to accommodate the most commonly used types of 96-well microtitre plate: u-well, v-well, flat bottom, high temperature. It is also suitable for cell culture plates.

The undrilled aluminium block is black anodised for efficient heat transfer, and is supplied complete with hinged lid.

The double layer lid creates an insulated incubation chamber for good sample uniformity, whilst the outer surface stays cool for user comfort.

QBM-E0, QBM-E1 blocks for 0.5ml and 1.5ml micro centrifuge tubes

For temperature control of 0.5 ml and 1.5 ml microfuge tubes; two of these blocks fit into the QBTP, allowing a combination of different size

Two block extraction tools are supplied as standard, allowing the blocks to be removed easily and safely.
