Herolab Easy Win32 Module A- Basic Software

More than 15 years ago our GLP conform E.A.S.Y Win32 software was released. This new 32-Bit Windows version was the successor of our 16-Bit version of E.A.S.Y which is presently being used by researchers throughout the world, as a stand-alone software package, or in conjunction with our own documentation hardware. Herolab has been a driving force over the past eight years in the development of Software and Systems for the documentation and analysis of DNA/RNA Gels, Protein Gels, Autoradiograms, TLC, Microtiter plates and other applications.

The E.A.S.Y Win32 software is the final combination of your ideas for improvement and development with our experience in gel documentation. Today E.A.S.Y Win32 is the trademark for highly precise and user friendly analysis software. If GLP conformity as well as reliability, reproducibility and objectivity is significant for you the E.A.S.Y Win32 software fulfils all these needs.

The CCD Camera Interface with Integration and Overflow Control is integrated in the 32-Bit Windows version of E.A.S.Y (available only with Herolab camera systems). E.A.S.Y Win32 is capable of directly downloading images from a monochrome video camera (gels), colored camera (microscope) or flat-bed scanner (autoradiograms etc.), and takes full advantage of the Windows operating system in true 32-Bit.

The basic software Module A offers unique GLP conform image digitizing and storage facilities. Files can be stored and loaded in a virtual office organization which is fully extended with thumbnails images as well as GLP conform image data information. The history of the original image is automatically logged and every alteration or manipulation is recorded in one file which is inseparable connected to the image. To ensure the GLP conform invariability of the data we use a protected file format which cannot be manipulated.

Nevertheless E.A.S.Y Win32 is open to a variety of file formats (e.g. TIFF, BMP, JPEG, CMS, GIF, PCX, PNG, SMC and others) which can imported and analyzed. A full range of image improvement and data processing features, such as Artifacts Removal, Background Adjusting, Cut/Copy/Pasting, 3-D Graphic Creation, Full Annotation and Image Improvement Filters for producing publication quality documentation is included.
