1500C & 1600C Horizontal and vertical tube furnaces (STF)

• Maximum operating temperatures of the horizontal & vertical tube furnaces is 1500C or 1600C
• Accepts worktubes up to 60mm and 90mm outside diameter
• Heated lengths of the horizontal & vertical tube furnaces is 180, 450 or 610mm
• These models utilise silicon carbide heating elements, arranged symetrically around a separate ceramic worktube to ensure excellent thermal uniformity
• Rapid heat up to operating temperature
• Can be adapted to allow a non-oxidising atmosphere or vacuum, by fitting a longer length worktube and end seals
• Applications in materials research include testing of novel materials under strict temperature and varying atmosphere conditions
• Applications in the electronics industry include testing electronic components and semiconductor materials under inert atmospheres or vacuum
• Applications in Instrumentation include testing of temperature sensors such as thermocouples and PT100's, and may require enhanced thermal uniformity
• For enhanced thermal uniformity a three zone model is available

• Normally built on the horizontal base pictured above, this furnace range can be mounted vertically with the optional L stand and separate control box, as pictured on the left
