1200C Three Zone Tube Furnace(TZF)
  • Maximum operating temperature 1200C
  • Tube diameters range from 38 - 100mm
  • Heated lengths from 400 - 900mm
  • These models utilise three resistance wire heating elements wound around the integral ceramic worktube
  • Three control systems balance the power to the heating elements to ensure excellent thermal uniformity
  • The thermocouples are located in a protected position between the outside of the worktube and heating element, allowing the full worktube diameter to be used
  • Normally built on the horizontal base pictured left, this furnace range can optionally be mounted vertically with a separate control box
  • Applications in Instrumentation include testing of temperature sensors such as thermocouples and PT100's, which require enhanced axial thermal uniformity
  • Applications in Materials Research include testing of novel materials under strict temperature conditions
  • Applications in the Electronics Industry include testing electronic components and semiconductor materials
  • This range can be supplied with three equal heated lengths, for special applications

1200C Horizontal Three Zone tube (GHC)furnace

  • Maximum operating temperature of 1200C
  • Tube diameters up to 170mm
  • Six heated lengths from 450 - 1200mm
  • Heating is provided by resistance wire heating elements, semi-embedded in rigidised vacuum formed low thermal mass insulation modules, together with an optional, separate ceramic worktube to ensure excellent thermal uniformity
  • Three control systems balance the power to the heating elements to ensure excellent thermal uniformity
  • Rapid heat up to operating temperature
  • Removable tube adapters allow rapid changes for different size worktubes
  • Built on the horizontal base pictured left, with a separate control box
  • Applications in instrumentation include testing and calibration of temperature sensors such as thermocouples and PT100's, which require enhanced thermal uniformity
  • Applications in materials research include testing of novel materials under strict temperature conditions
  • Applications in the electronics industry include testing electronic components and semiconductor materials
  • Selected models in this range can be supplied with three equal heated lengths, for special applications

1200C Vertical Three Zone tube (GVC)

  • Supplied with versatile stand kit to allow vertical, wall mounted or horizontal use, with a separate control box

1500C & 1600C Three Zone tube (TZF)furnace

  • Maximum operating temperatures of 1500C or 1600C
  • Accepts worktubes up to 90mm outside diameter
  • Heated length of 610mm
  • These models utilise three sets of silicon carbide heating elements, arranged symetrically around a separate ceramic worktube
  • Three control systems balance the power to the heating elements to ensure excellent thermal uniformity
  • Rapid heat up to operating temperature
  • Can be adapted to allow a non-oxidising atmosphere or vacuum, by fitting a longer length worktube and end seals
  • Normally built on the horizontal base pictured left, this furnace range can optionally be mounted vertically with a separate control box
  • Applications in Instrumentation include testing of temperature sensors such as thermocouples and PT100's, that require enhanced axial thermal uniformity
  • Applications in materials research include testing of novel materials under strict temperature conditions
  • Applications in the electronics industry include testing electronic components and semiconductor materials

1700C & 1800C Three Zone tube (TZF)furnace

  • Maximum operating temperatures of 1700C & 1800C
  • Accepts a worktube of 90mm outside diameter
  • Heated length of 600mm
  • These models utilise molybdenum disilicide heating elements, arranged vertically around a separate ceramic worktube to ensure excellent thermal uniformity
  • Available for horizontal use only
  • Can be adapted to allow a non-oxidising atmosphere or vacuum, by fitting a longer length worktube and end seals
  • Applications in the ceramics industry include disintegration, testing and analysis of cement samples, refractory porosity tests, long term high temperature temperature tests and firing & sintering of ceramic samples
  • Applications in the semi conductor industry include annealing silicon, silicon carbide & nitride samples and solid state synthesis
  • Applications in materials research include testing of novel materials under strict temperature and varying atmosphere conditions
  • Applications in instrumentation include testing of temperature sensors such as thermocouples and PT100's, which may require enhanced axial thermal uniformity
