Vacuum Oven - Qualivac - LTE Scientific

Qualivac Vacuum OvenQualivac-Oven.jpg

Unlike the majority of vacuum ovens the LTE Qualivac is manufactured with a rectangular vacuum chamber which means that I you get considerably more working space for your money. Couple this with the many other attractive features detailed below and you will realise the investment value of Qualivac.

• Rectangular Chamber - more useful working apace
• Glass Door - continuous observation at work
• Heated on four surfaces - even heat distribution
• Solid Aluminum Shelves - conduct heat rapidly to the load

Construction
The stainless steel working chamber has a capacity of over 60 litres and is reinforced with steel scantlings making it capable of withstanding an absolute vacuum. The door is of 19 mm thick toughened glass, framed in stainless steel, giving superb visibility into the chamber. The door is strongly hinged and positively sealed by an eccentric catch on to a silicone rubber gasket. Removable solid aluminum shelves are employed to rapidly conduct heat from the chamber wall to the load. The outer case is constructed from rust-proofed steel, pale grey stove enameled, with an attractive stainless steel front panel.

Heating and Control
The oven is electrically heated; the heaters being clamped on both sides, top and bottom of the chamber exterior which again ensures even heat distribution and elimination of cold spots. The temperature is controlled by means of a solid state thermostat, fully suppressed to British Standards. The thermostat is easy to set and is extremely accurate and reliable and, in the unlikely event of failure, easy to replace. As an extra safeguard an oven temperature cut-out device is fitted which will switch off the electrical supply to the heaters if the primary thermostat fails in the 'ON' position. A mercury-in-glass thermometer is secured to the underside of one of the shelves and is visible through the glass door.

Provision is made for gas purging over all shelves and the controls for the gas and vacuum are situated on the front panel together with the vacuum gauge.
