    Bernie Almond who is Divisional Director for the Professional Division of Bio-Stat Limited, kindly opened our new laboratory at our premises in Bolton recently.


    Bernie is well known and respected throughout the industry and currently sits on the B.I.V.D.A. Executive Committee, and is Chairman of the Point of Care Committee.

    The facilities will be used for training and demonstration of a range of instrumentation and Point of Care Testing products, and also to assemble and prepare the instrumentation required for the BacLiteflex MRSA rapid detection process, developed by Acolyte Biomedica.
