The IEC Multi series has advantages that lead to consistent separation results, including G-force run control, exclusive AT-Speed Timer and Re-Run control, and automatically controlled Fast Cooling/Warming to the temperatures required for your protocol. Eliminating run to run variations. Exercising control over variables maximizes yields, reduces the chance for operator error and establishes critical baseline for sample preparation.

 

ADDITIONAL PRODUCT FEATURES:

  • High speed 50 ml Falcon/Corning conical tube capacity. Unique fixed angle rotor takes 50ml to 25,000+ g.

  • High microplate capacity- DoubleDeep rotor accepts up to 10 standard microplates or 4 deepwell microplates in one run.

  • Powerful programming interface. Keypad entry allows close control of centrifuge parameters with 98 stored programs and 7 minute autocool/autowarm feature.


  • Save electricity without compromising time or convenience with our unique Rapid Cool program, which allows you to cool the centrifuge chamber from 20C to 4C in less than seven minutes.

  • Outstanding rotor capability, including:
    - Swinging bucket for Sealed Aerocarrier, adapters. Exclusive autoclavable Aerocarrier® adapters contain aerosols consistent with OSHA’s bloodborne pathogen rule. Adapters can be removed from rotor for transport, and easily sealed with screw-on, transparent lids.

  • Supports variety of applications including:

 

- Nucleic acid purification (8848 microtube rotor)
- Microplate/filter plate centrifugation (8244*SB)
- Cell culture (8947 *SB and 8850 *FA)
- Gradient separation, e.g. for proteins (8850 *FA)
